Sunrise in Spring of Featherfalls, pet name Misty, is Blenheim and was bred by Mrs Greenfield of Plymouth. She has a very gentle expressive Misty has attended dog training classes and achieved her bronze Good Citizen Kennel Club award when she was under a year old. Although she is quite probably ready for progressing further, at the moment the examinations do not fit in with our planned calendar events. At her first open obedience show, she was placed ninth and received her certificate and rosette, an achievement I have been told as something to be truly proud of. She is very agile and could almost be compared to a ballerina in the canine world. When at play she effortlessly spins 180 degrees to change direction, leaving her playmates still bounding in the original direction. A very loving, loyal sweetheart, who, like many bitches will gladly play the supporting roll rather than the lead. Misty at present, 17/10/07 has been cleared of MVD heart disease and MRD/HC eye diseases. NB: clearance of a murmur does not mean that it cannot develop later in life. 50% of cavaliers have a murmur by the age of 6yrs, but not all require treatment. As a responsible owner heart checks should be repeated yearly. |
